Earn Continuing Education Credits (CEU) with Allan Block

Allan Block Corporation has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). In obtaining this accreditation, Allan Block Corporation has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standards which are widely recognized internationally as standards of good practice. As a result of our Authorized Provider status, Allan Block is authorized to offer IACET CEU’s for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standards.

Our status as an authorized provider of IACET CEU’s will allow us to provide engineers and others involved in retaining wall design and construction with essential credits toward renewal of their professional licensure.

Certifications

• Retaining Wall Inspector Certification (0.7 CEU)
  The Allan Block Wall Inspector Certification Program is designed to give building officials and inspectors the proper training and tools to ensure top quality retaining walls are built. The intent is to develop a basic understanding of how SRW’s are built and what to look for when inspecting SRW construction work.
• Retaining Wall Contractor Certification (0.7 CEU)
  Retaining Wall Contractor Certification is an introductory course to the Allan Block products and construction. The intent is to develop a basic understanding of our company, products, and tools we offer through our time tested program.

• Engineering Presentation – Segmental Retaining Wall Design (0.1 CEU)
  The Allan Block retaining wall design presentation is a course on segmental retaining wall (SRW) technical information. The intent is to develop an understanding of how all SRW’s function to ensure that these wall structures are properly designed. As part of the presentation, the advancements in the industry will be discussed, which include seismic design consideration and the addition of Internal Compound Stability
• Engineering Presentation – Best Practices (0.1 CEU)
  The Allan Block Best Practice presentation is intended to communicate the best practices for design of Segmental Retaining Walls (SRW) as determined by Allan Block Corporation based on 25 plus years of research, design and field experience. As part of the presentation, twelve different design topics will be introduced that will cover topics from initial design considerations to finishing the wall.
• Engineering Presentation – Best Practices with CCS (0.2 CEU)
  The Allan Block Best Practice presentation is intended to communicate the best practices for design of Segmental Retaining Walls (SRW) as determined by Allan Block Corporation based on 25 plus years of research, design and field experience. As part of the presentation, twelve different design topics will be introduced that will cover topics from initial design considerations to finishing the wall.
  
  In addition to Best Practices discussion, the presentation will outline how complex geometries for walls are becoming more of the norm than the exception. This course also has an introduction to design sections with varied structure depths to accommodate commonly found site obstructions, which we are calling Complex Composite Structures (CCS).
• AB Walls Design Software Presentation (0.1 CEU)
  The AB Walls Design Software presentation is an introductory course on Allan Block’s segmental retaining wall (SRW) design program. The intent is to develop a basic understanding of the software’s main features.The AB Walls Design Software presentation is an introductory course on Allan Block’s segmental retaining wall (SRW) design program. The intent is to develop a basic understanding of the software’s main features. This course is also available on the Online Training Program.
• Architectural Presentation (0.1 CEU)
  The Allan Block Retaining Wall Architectural Presentation is a course that is a complete overview of the segmental retaining walls (SRW). The intent is to develop an understanding of how all SRW’s function to ensure that these wall structures properly perform. Allan Block’s SRW product lines will be shown which includes our “Green” recycled SRW system. As part of the presentation, information on the additional product lines available - AB Fence and AB Courtyard Collections (patio seating walls) -will be introduced with highlights of each system.
• Segmental Retaining Wall Inspection (0.1 CEU)
  The Allan Block Inspection presentation is an introductory course regarding proper installation and inspection of segmental retaining walls (SRW). The intent is to develop a basic understanding of how SRW’s are built and what to look for when inspecting SRW construction work.
• AB Fence Design Manual (0.1 CEU)
  The AB Fence Design Manual presentation is an introductory course on our dry-stacked mortarless fencing product. The intent is to develop a basic understanding of how the system functions and to ensure that these wall structures are properly designed.
